Large Item Removal

What we assess

Pianos

Uprights and grands, assessed individually for weight and access.

Pool tables

Slate beds need dismantling, so these are quoted case by case.

Spas & hot tubs

Drained before collection, assessed for access and lift.

Gym equipment

Multi-stations, treadmills and loose weights.

Large cabinets

Oversized wardrobes, display units and built-ins.

Oversized furniture

Anything that will not go out the way it came in.

Send photos including the doorway, stairs and the path out.

Important

Exceptionally heavy items may need specialist equipment or a referral. We will tell you honestly if a job is outside what we can do safely.

FAQ

Before you request a quote.

Can't see your question? Call 0400 297 268 or send photos and we'll answer it directly.

Can you remove a piano or another exceptionally heavy item?

These need individual assessment of weight, construction, access and equipment. Send photos first. An onsite quote or a specialist referral may be required.

Why can't you give me a price over the phone for a spa?

Because the price is driven by access, not just the item. A spa at the end of a long side path with a gate is a different job to one beside the driveway. Photos or a visit give you a real number instead of a guess.

Do you dismantle items to get them out?

In many cases, yes. Tell us if the item was assembled in the room, so we can allow the time and tools in the quote.

How is the quote calculated?

Pricing comes down to volume, item type and access. Behind every quote is labour, loading time, the truck, staff, and the disposal fee we pay at the transfer station, plus GST. Photos let us size the load properly, so the price you are given upfront is the price you pay.

Where does my rubbish actually go?

Everything comes back to our yard and gets sorted. Metal, timber and e-waste go to recyclers. Usable furniture and goods are set aside for reuse or donation where practical. What is left goes to appropriate disposal facilities. We will not promise that a specific item gets donated, because the condition on the day decides it.

Ready to get the big one out?

Start with photos or a few details. We'll take it from there.
