How much does it cost?
There's no flat rate. Price is set by volume, item type and access. What sits behind that figure is labour, loading time, the truck, staff, the disposal fee we pay at the transfer station, and GST. Send photos and you get the exact number upfront.
Why does it cost what it does?
Most people are comparing us to a trailer and a Saturday. What you're paying for is two people doing the lifting, a truck that holds far more than a trailer, and the disposal fee, which is charged by weight at the tip regardless of who takes it there. We'd rather explain that upfront than have you find out at the end.
Isn't it free if you donate things to charity?
Donating usable items is something we choose to do. It doesn't cover the cost of getting them out of your house. We still pay staff, run the trucks and pay disposal fees on everything that isn't reusable.
Is the quote fixed?
The price we confirm is the price you pay for the agreed scope. If you add items or the access turns out to be different, we'll tell you and confirm the change before we load, never after.
How do payments work?
We'll confirm accepted payment methods, timing and the quoted scope before work begins. VERIFY: replace this with the exact payment methods and due-time policy before publishing.
What items do you take?
Furniture, mattresses, whitegoods and appliances, e-waste, green and yard waste, non-hazardous renovation and construction debris, general household junk, pallets and commercial loads.
Do you take a single item?
Yes. There is a minimum charge, but plenty of our jobs are one mattress or one fridge.
Do you do light demolition?
Yes: sheds, rainwater tanks and small outbuildings. These are quoted from photos or an onsite visit only, never a fixed price sight-unseen.
What needs specialist handling?
Asbestos and suspected asbestos, fibre cement of uncertain age, chemicals, paint, solvents, liquids, gas bottles, batteries in poor condition and medical waste. Contact us before booking so we can point you in the right direction.
Why won't you take asbestos?
It requires licensed removalists and licensed disposal. Taking it would put our crew and your property at risk. If there is any doubt about a material, get it identified before you book.
What should I do before you arrive?
Gather items in one area if you can, clear a path for access, remove personal items and valuables, and let us know about anything heavy or bulky. None of this is essential, it just makes the job faster.
Do I need to be there?
Not necessarily, as long as items are accessible and the details are confirmed.
Do I need to move things outside?
No. We do the lifting and carrying, inside and out.
Where does my rubbish actually go?
Everything comes back to our yard and gets sorted. Metal, timber and e-waste go to recyclers. Usable furniture and goods are set aside for reuse or donation where practical. What is left goes to appropriate disposal facilities. We will not promise that a specific item gets donated, because the condition on the day decides it.
