I had a great experience with Adelaide Junk Co! They came to my house and collected all the rubbish that the council wouldn't take.

FAQ

Before you request a quote.

Can't see your question? Call 0400 297 268 or send photos and we'll answer it directly.

Does green waste get recycled?

Suitable green waste is directed to appropriate green organics processing where practical. VERIFY: only name mulching or composting once the receiving facility is confirmed.

Do I need to bag or cut it up first?

No. Loose piles are fine. If branches are very long, tell us so we can allow the time to cut them down on site.

Can you take soil, rocks or turf as well?

Yes, but these are priced by weight rather than volume, so they are quoted separately. Send a photo and tell us roughly how much there is.

How is the quote calculated?

Pricing comes down to volume, item type and access. Behind every quote is labour, loading time, the truck, staff, and the disposal fee we pay at the transfer station, plus GST. Photos let us size the load properly, so the price you are given upfront is the price you pay.

Where does my rubbish actually go?

Everything comes back to our yard and gets sorted. Metal, timber and e-waste go to recyclers. Usable furniture and goods are set aside for reuse or donation where practical. What is left goes to appropriate disposal facilities. We will not promise that a specific item gets donated, because the condition on the day decides it.

Start with photos or a few details. We'll take it from there.
